Coastal Trail
The Stewards have partnered with the Mendocino Land Trust (MLT), the McCollum family (owners of coast guard station 314), Friends of Point Arena-Stornetta Lands, the City of PA and BLM to create a trail connection from Arena Cove up to the existing bluff top trail on the Point Arena-Stornetta Lands.
Early in the project the group received a $120,000 planning grant, written by the Stewards. Now the planning has been completed and the Stewards have submitted a grant for $565,000 for the construction of the trail. The trail will have staircases, landings, interpretive signage and more!
